I purchased an iphone 15 Pro yesterday, trading in my iphone 8. At home, the 15 Pro gets one bar of service. I did not have this issue with my iphone8. I would get 3 or 4 bars on that phone. I did not change service providers. The only change is the new phone.

It may also have to do with the fact that the 8 was not a 5G phone. the 15 Pro is. The 5G signal may not be great in your home.
It could be that there is just little reception right now. You should not worry, I always have 1 bar and I handle myself pretty well with that, I am always reachable and have no disruptions in service
