Charging AirPods Pro 2 earbuds in AirPods Pro 1 Case

Hello everybody,

I had a question regarding charging the AirPods Pro 2 earbuds in a AirPods Pro 1 case.

My dog decided to chew on my AirPods Pro 1 earbuds therefore I only have the case and was looking to buy some AirPods Pro 2 so I feel better about my dog destroying my earbuds.

I know that I would miss on all the features of the AirPods Pro 2 case, but i don't really mind.
