Zoom Security Certificate

When I try to use my zoom, I receive a a message saying: "Open your browser to check your internet connection. This may happen if you have to login to your network, or you are using public Wi-Fi." I don't know how to update my security certificate and zoom is of no help at my current support level.

Hi lecoltin,

welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community.

Seems you want to begin using the Zoom app for online-video-meetings.

Click the small black apple on the left in the top menu, and choose "System settings"

In the left sidebar, click on "Privacy and Security"

You can "slide" the button across to allow Zoom to access your camera.

Also: If you use Safari to connect to the internet on your MacBook Pro:

With Safari open, try clicking on "Safari" in the top menu > then "Settings"

Along the top of the small window that opens, click on "Websites"

Then, in the sidebar : click on "Camera" and choose "Ask" or "Allow" (not Deny)

next : click on "Microphone" ... choose "Ask" or Allow" ( " " )

(for Zoom)

All the best :-)
