I live in Uk (Nottingham). I just got an update on my iPhone that my Apple ID sign in requested near Xi’an Shaanxi . I have searched for this area it’s in China . I can’t access my Apple ID now from my cell phone. I need guidance on this matter

Also be aware that it is a common scam to receive these messages and they want you to enter your Apple ID and Password. If they can get this information, not only can they take your data, but also lock you out of your device. Did you give any information from the message when you received it?
If you cannot reset your password and are unable to access any of your information when attempting to sign into iCloud.com, then the last resort is the Account Recovery process.

No I just received a pop up on screen that my Apple ID sign in is requested . I didn’t allow it on the pop up but since then the setting tab showing my name is locked and I can’t access it but other options on my phone are accessible.
See if you can access your account on the internet. If you can view it there, you can see if anyone else is signed into your Apple ID or if you receive any error messages when attempting to sign in.
