"Your credit card is about to expire" error every time I try to purchase an app in App Store

I went on a computer. Logged in to update purchasing method. Add a new card. Removed the one that was "expiring" and then added it back. That worked for me.

I fixed it by adding another card .deleting the old card and then readding the old card and deleting the new card I used .its a hassle but it is a easy fix until Apple figures it out

Just tried this and it worked for me also. Delete it from wallet and re-add. OMG I have spent hours on this issue today; so glad it’s resolved now.

Same thing. It was fine about two hours ago and now it’s giving me this error.

Mine randomly just started working again

This is also occurring to me. My Apple Pay works for shopping apps, DoorDash, etc but not in app purchases and my card is brand new (and just stopped working tonight in my app)

Update: I took my card off .. put it back in and it’s working now. Fingers crossed it keeps working. I did wait about 5-10 minutes before putting it in again. Hope this helps everyone!

Same thing. Removed my card and tried to add it back and now it’s saying it can’t add this card at this time.

i’m dealing with the same issue. i just put the money i needed into my apple card from my bank card and that let me make purchases. hopefully they have the problem solved soon.

If you delete the primary card you use from the wallet app and then re-add it. It should solve the issue. It's probably just a technical issue on Apple's side, but this should fix the issue.

I worked around it by setting PayPal up as my default payment. It is the same credit card but didn't experience the glitch. Good luck.
