Always Prompting "welcome to apple music"

Everytime i use apple music it pops up the welcome to apple music window and i have to click the start listening button just to change the song, when dealing with the apple 'Geniuses' they were of no help. does anyone have any ideas or have had a similar problem. only occurs on my main mac account and not on the guest account but i have no idea how to reset apple music and from what ive been told its no possible to delete the app and re-install it.
