I had the circular Instant video on my iphone14 (WhatsApp) a couple of months ago. Tried to use it recently and found out I no longer had the option to toggle between video and voice messages. Both phone and WhatsApp are on the latest versions.

Found the solution.
The option has been moved to camera button, just hold the camera button to start the instant video recording.
The option to enable/disable the instant video messages has now been removed.

To enable circular video messaging, please press and hold the "Camera" button to bring the option up.

I’ve done that - all they advised was to update WhatsApp and iOS and toggle the switch (Instant Video Messages) in Settings>Chat which I can’t do because I have no toggle button🥲
