FaceTime Self-View Window Stays Large

15 Pro, self view is so large on FaceTime that it takes up 1/4 on the screen. Cant remedy it in settings. Please fix. Happened with last update. Approximately February 1st.

I have been having the exact same issue the past few days and I also have no idea how to fix it. If I flip the camera it my self-view window goes back to its normal state, but in order to change it back to facing me, I must click on the screen to see the facetime settings and flip the camera back, but then the self-view remains large again. That's the only thing I've found that could possibly be relevant, everything else I've tried hasn't done anything to help.

Me and my girlfriend are having this same issue rn. We’ve done every kind of troubleshooting we’ve thought of and no solution. Would be nice to hear from Apple here

FOUND A FIX!

I have an iPhone 14 Pro and had the same issue. Annoying how much screen real estate my self image took up.

To fix, I hung up, reset my phone (volume up, down, held down power button until the Apple logo appeared), then called back. My self image went back to the normal tiny image. Hope this works for you guys!

Same issue! I just got a new iPhone 14 and my camera will NOT get smaller and it’s super annoying. I want it fixed so bad lol

same issue iphone 12 pro... started after the most recent software update

every time i switch apps while i'm on facetime and then go back to the facetime, my self view window takes up 1/4 of the screen and won’t fix unless i hang up and call back. very frustrating!! would be nice to hear from apple on this.

Same issue with me, 14 Pro - 17.2.1 -- i had this issue a few versions back as-well, but it fixed itself

I have a similar issue it started when i used facetime gestures and wont resize after. The only solution ive found is disabling the reaction video effect and restarting my phone

Might've found a fix that doesn’t involve restarting your phone, or pulling your hair out. Just click the f button when you pull up the view controls and turn the blur on and back off. Worked for me!

It only works for a few short minutes until you switch to another app or switch the camera view around then it goes back to the same thing.

it goes back to normal when you hang up and call back, but unfortunately if you leave the ft screen and go back to it. you’ll just have the same issue again. i’ve been having this issue since yesterday but it’s quite annoying.
