I got a hacked pop up screen while watching my little pony movie on twitter (yes i know kinda weird) and when I pressed the video it led me to a website but I can still watch the movie but I got a pop up at the bottom that I have been hacked and if I don’t close it within 2 minutes it will share my history to all my contacts and it had a apple logo on the side. Is this real?? I’m freaking out so much rn I just shutdown my iPad and updated it cause that’s what they told me to do. 😭
All such messages are scams presented by criminals. Do not interact with the message or the sender. Close the offending page and avoid sites that are involved in such bogus advertising tactics.
