I bought a new phone on 22nd December, someone stolen the phone from my bag, So far no help was received from police or apple store. Has anyone faced the same issue, Apple has no way to handle this scenario, i searched the entire website.
In order for Apple to track the location of the phone, you would have had to set up the Find My feature on the phone. Unfortunately, that was not possible if the phone was lost before you could set it up.
If you provided a serial number or IMEI number to the police, and it matches with a phone that has been turned in by an honest person, the police will contact you.
Only local law enforcement authorities can help you with that.
