how do i keep someone from seeing my messages from their own phone

My girlfriend is able to see my messages on her device. How can this be reversed? Or Blocked

Use separate Apple ID. Alternatively,

Disable text message forwarding

On your iPhone, go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding.
Disable the devices which is reading your texts
