Third party plugins not working correctly after relocating Logic's Sound Library

I recently acquired an external hard drive to space space on laptop, and transferred logic's sound library to the external hard drive (using the normal "relocate sound library" button). That went off without a hitch, and I was able to boot up logic and access the logic sound library and plugins as normal. However, now when I open ANY third party plugin. The plugin screen is completely locked and I can't change any settings whatsoever in the plugin. What's weird is that on previous projects, the plugins still work but it won't let me change a single setting on it. This is happening to EVERY third party plugin, and I can't work without them.

I'm assuming maybe I need to also transfer the third party plugin's sound library to the external hard drive as well? Ideally I would not have to do that though. At this point, any solution would be great.
