trying to pair my veryfitpro to my Iphone8, my bluetooth is ON, however the search for other devices is constantly searching but nothing is detected. Usually it will ask to search for other devices or it will automatically search when my devices are turned on for pairing.

There is no problem, It is supposed to be constantly searching all of the time you have the bluetooth window in Settings open. There is no time where you stop and identify a problem.
It's sort of like your refrigerator light. It's on while the door is open. How can you tell if there is a problem with that.
It I normal for an iPhone to show that it is searching for other devices all of the time that the Settings > Bluetooth window is open.
It will search forever as long as that window in Settings is open.

Your example of the refrigertator light is not relevent to my problem. The light is designed to stay on so you have light when you open the refrigerator door. A problem will occur when the light is burnt and no longer able to provide the service it was designed to do shed light. At this point you will replace the bulb and provide light once again, problem solved. In my case I understand it automatically searches for other devices, what's not clear is how long should it search before indicating no devices detected, or an error was detected. I can't understand why we are left wondering if the search is not working, can't pair with a particular device or any other issue. In my case, I need to understand what's the problem and what I need to do to resolve the problem.
