I'm using FCPX on an M1 Macmini. Unfortunately I've only got a 500gb drive.
I'm getting the message "not enough drive space left" or something like that.
Can I move the FCP Library to an external drive?
All my video clips and audio tracks are on external drives already.

Just copy the library across and double-click it to open it in FCP.
It's a good idea to not use more than 80% of the mini's SSD (400 GB) as the computer may slow down or have other problems. An HDD or SSD needs plenty of free "elbow-room".
Select the library in FCP and use delete generated library files. You’ll probably get a ton of free space back.
Post an EtreCheck report https://etrecheck.com giving the application Full Disk Access in Privacy & Security System Settings. Copy the report and use the Add Text button to paste the result into reply box. That way we can see what the drive situation is.
It is probably in your Movies folder - that is the default location.
Anyway, you can search for it by name, or by the file extension: .fcpbundle
So NOW I'm a dummy.
