Radio cuts out when iPhone 14 plugged into Mazda CX5

When I plug my iPhone 14 (iOS 17.1.2) into my Mazda CX5, my radio cuts out every ten-15 seconds. Anyone find a solution yet?

It might be due to interference or compatibility issues between your iPhone 14 and the Mazda CX5's audio system. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Sometimes, using a different charging cable or an Apple-certified cable can help. It might be a problem with the current cable causing interference.
  2. Ensure that both your iPhone and the Mazda CX5's software are up to date. Sometimes, software updates can fix compatibility issues.
  3. If you're using Bluetooth along with the cable connection, try disconnecting Bluetooth to see if that helps.
  4. Remove any previously paired devices from both the iPhone and the car's audio system, then re-pair them.
  5. Check the Mazda CX5's audio settings to see if there are any options related to USB or iPhone connectivity that might need adjustment.
  6. If possible, try connecting another phone or device to your car's audio system using the same cable to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if it's an iPhone-specific issue or a problem with the car's audio system.
  7. Try Mazda forum --> Bluetooth connects and disconnects...

Give these steps a try, and hopefully, you'll find a solution to the radio cutting out when your iPhone is connected to your Mazda CX5! Bluetooth connection keeps failing on my new 2016 CX-5
