Car play turns off radio

If that doesn't help, let us know some detail. Are you saying you're playing music from your iPhone when this happens, or through your vehicle stereo? What app are you using? Are you connecting using a cable?

Did you also verify if a firmware update was available for your car stereo? Since the issue started with recent update/upgrade, that may be what is needed.

7. Make sure that your CarPlay stereo is using the latest firmware from the car manufacturer. Check your car's manual for more information.

Does your car audio system include an auto-play function in the stereo settings? If so, try disabling this feature before testing again.

Also, please fill us in on whether you're referring to audio that's playing directly from your vehicle or if it's from the iPhone itself, and which apps you're using if you're referring to audio from your iPhone.
