Downloaded movies will not play to tv via hdmi

I downloaded several movies from prime, Netflix, and Hulu to my new iPad to play in my camper during a camping trip. When I plug into hdmi, using an Apple adapter, I can see my iPad screen. As soon as I try to play any downloaded content from any of those apps I get some kind of message about an error in playback. The content plays just fine on the iPad screen when not plugged into the tv.

Lightning to hdmi problems I updated my iPhone 13 to iOS 16 and now am unable to watch Netflix and Hulu on tv via lightning to hdmi connector. The first time I tried it said the accessory firmware had to be downloaded but then that message went away. On Hulu it plays but no sound. On Netflix it says playing on tv but doesn’t. It shows the phone screen on tv but will not play shows. Tried a YouTube video and it played normally. Everything was fine before the iOS update. Anyone have a fix? Tried Apple support and they couldn’t fix it.

Why won’t Apple TV app on PS5 play certain movies? I have a heap of movies in my library that I’ve purchased. My PS5 is plugged into a PC monitor (could be the monitor?), and app is up to date, but when I go to play Harry Potter - Chamber of Secrets, it comes up with Content Unavailable Error. This type of content is not currently compatible with your device etc. I don’t understand how every other film plays fine on this setup, but this one in particular won’t? HP film works fine on my iPhone.
