Automatic brightness during Instagram upload photo

Hi everybody,

I have recently bought an iPhone 15 pro and currently I have installed the iOS 17.2.1.

Since then, whenever I try to upload a photo as a post, instagram automatically increase significantly the brightness. This happens as soon as I select the photo from my album (please see attached modified photo vs original one) .

I already tried everything: logging out, deleting the app, switching off the iPhone, selecting other albums, … but the problem is still there. The paradox is that if the photo is shared with another person with a different Iphone (e.g., Iphone 11) through airdrop (so preserving all the features and quality) and she uploads it on her instagram account, the photo does not get modified like on my profile (I also tried to receive back the photo and upload it but it does not work as well).

Is there someone that was in the same situation and was able to fix it?
