My 9 month old MacBook Air is stuck in recovery

This morning I woke up to multiple start up chimes from my MacBook Air M1. I have never experienced something like this so I was worried when this was happening.

Fast forward to getting out of bed, I realised I was stuck in a recovery loop. Every time I selected the hard drive I was kicked back into recovery. I eventually tried to do the whole First Aid thing, Time Machine and even tried an OS reinstall but still no luck

I decided to bite the bullet and erase my HD in hopes that it would help. Nothing. My HD is swept clean but every time I reinstall the OS I keep getting an error occurred message. So now I’m stuck with a MacBook that doesn’t work and I have no idea what to do now

I bought the puter brand new from the an authorised seller (iStore in South Africa)

Make sure to disconnect all external devices from the laptop in case one of them is causing a problem.

Your only other option is to try a DFU firmware "Restore" which will reset the security enclave chip & system firmware as well as push a clean copy of macOS onto the internal SSD. If this does not work, then you most likely have a hardware issue with this laptop which will need to be repaired. Have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop.
