Reusing Apple Boxes

Do the Apple stores take back the original boxes that its products were purchased in? I just bought AirPods Pro and the box and its contents (e.g., paperwork) are in pristine condition and could easily be reused for the next sale. It is noteworthy that the boxes are robust and a lot of raw material (trees) went into making them. I'm concerned that even if I put it in the city's recycling bin, that it will not be recycled.

Yes, I understood your question ... and I tried to answer it the best I could as I have never personally tried to have Apple recycle the boxes. Mainly because I typically keep them.

Regardless, we are not Apple employees here, just fellow Apple-product users. To get a direct answer to your question, I suggest that you contact Apple Support directly and ask them. To do so, simply select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.

Hello~ Paper and cardboard are one of the most recycled products to date. According to the U.S. EPA…. more paper by weight is recovered from municipal solid waste streams for recycling than plastic, glass, steel and aluminum combined. So, I don’t think your statement would be correct. Apple is a responsible company that is deeply committed to our planet.
