Apple will accept Apple devices for recycling.


Another option might be Best Buy.....if you have a store in your area, as they will accept virtually any electronic product for recycling.


Your local city government may also have a recycling center.

Staples Office Store also have a rather forgiving recycle program:

Our nearest Apple Store is a 100 mile one-way roadtrip, but we have a Staples store seven minutes away. The latter gets all our old tech. Most Staples are not inside a shopping mall like so many Apple stores, so we can park out front and, at least at our store, the drop-off counter is just inside the front door.


Best thing is not having to schlep heavy devices from a remote parking garage and through crowded mall halls.
