I recently got my friend's Original Apple Watch Ultra for Christmas 2023. Do Original Apple Watch Ultra has Always-on altimeter with expanded operating range from -500m to 9000m or Always-on altimeter without expanded operating range from -500m to 9000m?

Is expanded operating range from -500m to 9000m only for Apple Watch Ultra 2?

More unnecessary changes - Apple Watch control center I am fuming about the change of now having to press the side button instead of swiping up for the Apple Watch control center. It is a much slower function, requiring 2 movements, when you are in a split second hurry and need to ping your phone. Can this manually be changed back on my watch? Stop changing things that don’t need to be, just to say something is different. Seriously irate.
