can't add a second mail account on Apple Watch 10.2

I figured it out. I had deactivated the 2nd gmail account in the iPhone Mail app (i use the gmail app and I think I was getting "double" notifications). this caused it to not show up in the Watch iPhone app. once i reactivated it in the first, i was able to add it in the latter.

Thank you for the fast response. I do (have both on my phone), yes. i dont see any place where i can add the second account on the iphone watch app, however. interestingly i do get (all) notifications on my phone.

The guide provides these instructions:

1. 1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
   2. Tap My Watch, then go to Mail > Include Mail.
   3. Tap the accounts you want to see on your Apple Watch below Accounts. You can specify multiple accounts—for example, iCloud and the account you use at work.

When i click on Include Mail (step 2), it brings me to the screen where i can choose which folders to show from the previously added account, but there is no place to "specify multiple accounts" (step 3).

right---mirroring or custom, there' doesnt seem to be a place to add any further accounts.

If i scroll down and click on "Accounts", it shows the one that is added, but no '+' sign or anything like that:

i only have one watch (its not an ultra though), and i'm 99% certain the iphone app is paired with it, even though it doesnt say so up in the corner.
