I'm having the same issue on my iPhone Max, I also tried to change my password and my screen went back and wont let me in. If I try to type my old or new password it will always go into recovery mode. Its stuck on a white screen stating "Please restore your iPhone from backup." I've tried resetting it, hard resetting it, and nothing works. I tried downloading iTunes on my windows computer and backing it up but it couldn't find the iPhone without having to unlock it which I cant do, How do I fix?

I’m currently dealing with the exact same issue. I changed my iPhone password and it locked me out. With, data recovery cannot be completed please restore your iPhone from backup. Any new helpful updates or information regarding this issue?

Where is your backup? iCloud or iTunes/Finder?

Are you using a Mac or a Windows PC?
