Why am I being charged for a $9 app on my bank account at $2

I paid for an app advertised at $9 on the App Store. I was charged $27. Why? I refused to pay as not only is it false advertising but also dishonest. Apple you are crooks and price gouging, saying one thing. Like this then under cover charging more.

Please verify the description of the charge(s) to your Apple ID account. Then you’ll see that the difference is for something else.

View your purchase history for the App Store, iTunes Store, and other Apple media services - Apple Support
