Expired credit card

The Chase credit card I use for Apple Pay won’t work and it, when I try to use it, it says it is expired. But it is not. It worked the afternoon of 1/31/23 but stopped working around 6pm ET. Is this a system wide problem? How do I fix it. It is affecting everyone in my family group.

That’s become a common issue over the last 10 days. The work around is to add another payment method using a four digit expiration date. Remove the problematic card. Restart iPhone. Add problematic card to account using four digit expiration date. Secondary payment method may be removed if desired.
