Mac Studio M2 very big problems loading and viewing big panoramic pictures

I bought a Mac Studio M2 12 CPU, 38 GPU, 64 GB memory, 4 T SSD + display 27 inch to replace my 5 y old iMac 27 with Intel core i5 (4 cores) 3.8ghz and 16 GB memory. I am a photo enthousiast making panoramic views with my Canon Eos R6 m2. After stitching, these pictures can have a resolution of up to 100000x3900 and 1.6 GB TIFF of storage. My old iMac could load and show these pictures well in about 15 to 20 seconds in the Photo app.

Now with my new Mac studio this is a very big problem. It takes 20-30 minutes or more to load and even then the picture always becomes blurred again when scrolling or  zooming  in the picture.  This problem becomes very obvious above resolutions of about 50000x3800. Below resolutions of about 40000x3800 and 500 MB of storage, the problem seem to disappear. Never had this issue with my old iMac.

A second problem is that every picture or panorama shows a blurred band at the upper side of the picture. This blurred band is only 1 mm wide on pictures of about 10000x3800 but increases steadily to 5 mm with panoramas of about 75000x3800. I checked the same pictures in Preview and there the blurred band is absent, so here the pictures are correctly displayed. However Preview is also  slow to load the big panos taking about 2 minutes for an 80000x3800. But once loaded I can scroll or zoom in out without becoming blurred. However this only goes well with the first pano.  If I load a second pano in preview it never becomes sharp and gets many big grey squares of about 10x10 cm. I have to close and reopen the Preview app and then it loads well again for only 1 panorama.

So I am extremely disappointed with this computer! Are there people having the same problems and is there a solution?  Apple sent me an identical brand new  replacement Studio but it has the exact same issues. Maybe these ARM cores are inferior to Intel or there are other bottlenecks in this system. Maybe it is the operating system (Sonoma14.1.2) I don’t know. Starting in safe mode and reinstalling Sonoma didn’t help. Thanks in advance.
