Thread…Disappeared??
I was having a conversation with another user yesterday. I noticed they had posted a reply to me just as I had to take a call. it was several hours before I had the opportunity to respond, but when I returned the post had…disappeared. The whole thread seems to have disappeared including my contribution.
The tab I had open was returning just a error message. I didn’t even have a record of the user or the thread. Or so I thought. this forum breeds tabs like their rabbits. I apparently had a tab open to their profile, So I got a last look at their profile page basically. I can’t find it now. I don’t remember their name. I’m attaching screenshots of the error message and, yes, A screenshot I took for my dad yesterday.
I use this this memoji for his contact photo Specifically so that when I’m calling him it looks like he’s panicking to the phone ringing. Its pretty much a dead ringer for the flight-freeze rxn occurring halfway across the United States. I estimate there probably about 10 users preparing a retort ala tangent foul. Sadly, they should now feel deferrered, because coincidentally, the user I was talking to uses this exact same Memoji in their profile pic (Relavance wins at the buzzer!).
I’m so confused about how this would even happen. I mean it’s either a technical glitch or human intervention but neither makes much sense…
This is the only information I have to help identify this person, or preferably, the missing thread. I can also tell you they initiated the thread. yesterday, I think. Or the day before. and it was in the Apple communities forum.
any constructive feedback on what might’ve happened here and or avenues forward (if there’s any) would be welcome. especially be interested in knowing if this is another technical glitch. If the thread disappeared intentionally, then why? I don’t appear to have the right to delete my own comment in this form at this time so presumably that user would not be able to either.
