Keyboard for searching app library on iPhone

I can’t see a keyboard when I go to my app library. I have keyboard at other times the app library only shows on the side the letters of the alphabet I read that restarting the iPhone would help with this, but I did restart it once and it didn’t help.

Never mind. I figured it out. You click on the globe in the lower left-hand corner and it brings up the keyboard
