Keyboard missing when I open some apps on my new iPhone 16

On new iPhone: no keyboard when opening an app and password prompt appears. For some apps it works, for others not

Found a workaround! Don't open the app where you placed it on the home screen. Instead, open the app via the automatic screen App library where iPhone put the apps in groups. If you open the app there, you get the keyboard. Enter your credentials, then you can open the app where you placed it yourself and it works

That worked great! I had already uninstalled chewy so I did an app search for chewy, installed from the app search, then opened it from the app search and I could absolutley sign in and use it.

Just chiming in I’m having the same issue. Frustrating. Was just searching for an answer about that in the chewy app and ran across this thread.
