Apple Watch not appearing in Find My (Mac/iPhone) or Watch App

I lost my Apple Watch one month ago and the last location was somewhere around my home. Now it doesn't even show up its last location on Find My and the Watch app asks me to Pair a New or Existing Watch. Not sure if this is related to the fact that I upgraded from an iPhone 12 to an iPhone 15 one week ago but wasn't able to pair the watch to the new iPhone because it was still missing. Is there a way to make it reappear in my device list or at least retrieve it last location to pinpoint?

Hi David. The watch was paired to the iPhone 12. Unfortunately, it never crossed my mind that it would disappear from my iCloud/Find My and Watch app after migrating to the new iPhone 15. Is there a way to access some sort of location history or last reported location for a "former" device? Old Find My emails with subject "A sound was played on my Apple Watch" have links to follow up but I end up with the incomplete list. Thanks in advance.

Already tried the Mac with the same results. I handed the iPhone 12 to my son but it was already set up from his previous iPhone so taking it back and trying to restore from an old backup is too much trouble. I also tried to locate the watch from my son's Find My without any luck. And yes, you're right about older devices, I'm still able to see other older devices like an iPhone 6, what makes this even more odd to me. Thanks again David.
