Numbers Spreadsheet Error

Cannot open just this one particular spreadsheet and I havent had any problems in the past. This has been convenient to me that’s why I’m using it until now. Every time I open, it just says COULDNT IMPORT SPREADSHEET, THE FILE FORMAT IS INVALID. Tried everything from copying the file and then re-opening to updating the iOS but none

works.

Years worth of data now in jeopardy. Someone please help how I can open.

iOS is updated 17.2.1, Numbers version is 13.2

iPhone 11, iOS 17

From your screenshot it looks as if you have stored your Numbers documents in iCloud Drive. Good! You may be able to get the document back by logging into iCloud.com and looking for that document in Numbers for iCloud and downloading it from there.

If you have a Mac that is syncing to that iCloud account and you have iCloud Drive turned and you have a backup system like Time Machine (highly recommended because, as you have discovered, sooner or later something will go wrong) then you may be able to retrieve a prior version from Time Machine.
