I fell into a pool with my phone in my pocket nothing happened to it?

I was standing near by the pool and accidentally stubbed my toe and feel into the water with my iPhone 11 it was submerged for around 6 seconds. Can someone tell me how it survived or was it a miracle

Your iPhone 11 survived water damage because it is designed to be Water Resistant for a brief period of time while submerged in shallow water. You also got lucky because, there are instances out there where even slight contact with water for a short time has damaged iPhones.
