Encryption of Notes

Notes in my iPhone and Mac are synced to iCloud but not locked (iCloud data security overview). When (due to outdated systems) malicious code accesses the notes on device, are the leaked data in decrypted form or encrypted? Are there relevant reported vulnerabilities (e.g. the combination of patched CVE-2023-32434 and CVE-2023-32439)?

Access iCloud Keychain Secure Notes on iPhone I am saving Secure Notes under iCloud Keychain Access and have ensured that my iCloud syncs my Keychain, but when I look my iPhone (which also has iCloud sync enabled for Keychain), I can only see passwords, not Secure Notes. Does anyone know how to make it work? My concern is that if I lose access to my laptop I'll lose access entirely to my Secure Notes which poses a security issue.

If my iPhone Notes are locked, can someone hack them? I have Norton and facial recognition on my phone. Some of my notes are locked. If I get hacked or click on something I thought came from a friend can they open these notes? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

iCloud Notes loss I've somehow recently lost some very important notes on my phone. However, when I log in to my iCloud email online, I can see the said notes but I can't access them. I am greeted with this message: "Can't View Note This note uses a locking method supported only in Notes for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. To view locked notes in Notes for iCloud.com, switch to using a custom password on one of those devices". I know the password but it's not even giving me the option to enter it. The notes are out there I just can't work out how to re-access them. I need them desparately. Any help would massively apreciated! Kind regards, Brad
