ETA: You can save things to PDF (as part of the printing function) or export them to HTML files. There doesn't seem to be any easy way of saving them to another app.

I usually check the features before i start using it. But thinking its a apple app i used it and to my disgust i find i cant search, print, export journal entries. These features should be there in the MVP for the product. PLEASE TAKE THIS REQUEST AT THE EARLIEST. One one forum i saw click on three dots and you get these options. I didnt find them. i checked if there is any upgrade for the app but there isnt. I am missin something?

I want to print directly from JOURNAL App? Tapping text does NOT bring up a PRINT menu.

You can't forward them. You print them. Once you've hit "Print", a PDF will be generated that you can share.

If you still have the pictures in Photos, share them from there.

I would also LOVE to be able to print from the new Journal App feature. I really only started using it thinking that I could print into a book. I’ve been using it to document my baby’s moments that I would like to share via printed form

I have never introduced an app of any kind. I flunked the programming class I took in college.

I recommend the app I use and like. Take the recommendation or don't.

I am also very frustrated. I have been promoting this app to many people since start using it. Now, how can I guarantee all the effort i had will be kept for the future? At least they should give us a timeframe for solving the problem. Or it is their strategy to keep us imprisoned in iphone?

I agree with everything said here and would love to hear soon that Apple has a way to print the journal. I’ve been happily using the journal, thinking that I could print it someday. Now that I’m ready to print I found out that I can’t. That kind of sucks.

I too would like to be able to easily copy and paste ALL journal entries I only started using it in order to track daily data concerning blood pressure and pulse ox readings for my doctor if anyone has an answer I would appreciate any feedback thanks in advance !!!

They must include the ‘shared journal feature’ like ‘shared album’ feature in Photos app. So we can share the journals to our family. Also they must allow us to create multiple journals. I don’t know Apple has any plan to update the app in the near future. Otherwise we will forced to use other journaling apps. But I really don’t want to spend money on everything I use.

It's not misleading. That's exactly how you access the print function. Have you updated to iOS 18?

a few questions- do we still own the rights to our data in our journals to do what we like?

It’s simple enough to implement share anywhere via main platforms like photo already does. So why not do that from the off

Please make it make sense that you allow printing but you do not allow me to share my voice recording that I have made to myself to be share.

everything implemented in journal seems to be past technology- everything is done a lightning speed. Its a shame we are forced back to pre historic dial-up ways of working

I second the idea of being able to print my journal. Eventually, it will become a memory keep sake for future generations of my descendants.

I had an amazing day that I thought I would write up in the Journal app. So disappointed that I can’t print, share or print all the stuff I wrote. This needs fixing asap.
