second character appears when I press space

Hello! since this morning whenever I press the space key on my macbook pro M1 this character appears ]. I have checked the input keyboard, I have cleaned it with compressed air and I have reset VRAM, unchecked sticky keys and hte problem persists. When I go to keyboard viewer whenever I press space the character ] lits up as well

Any suggestions? thank you!!!

Try an external keyboard. If it works ok, the internal one probably needs repair.
