Apple Watch 8 Face options

Since the last 2 updates on my Apple 8 watch I have been unable to switch faces on it. Can this be explained and how do I switch faces again?

With watchOS 10 you now switch watch faces by touching and holding the watch face, swipe to the one you want, then tap it. For more info, see:
