Sharing icloud photos

I cannot get my Mac (Ventura) to sync Photos with my icloud account. Icloud photos is turned on all my devices, and I can see the pictures in icloud.com, but cannot get them to sync with my Photos app on my Macbook Pro (Ventura). I am connected to wifi and have checked all my Photos and MacBook settings.

Cannot sync MacBook photos to icloud Hi everyone, I am trying to sync my macbook photos to the icloud. I have a lot of pictures on my phone that are already in the cloud (2023- current) but my laptop is super old and I have pictures from like (2015-2023) that are not on the cloud. How can I sync my photos on the mac app to icloud? When I try to select 'settings' -> 'icloud' in photos I get a message that says "icloud features for photos are only available in the System Photo Library." What does that mean? I also have tried through system preferences -> Apple ID -> Icloud -> turning on 'photos' but I also get a message there that says "Open Photos to choose or create a library to use with iCloud Photos. iCloud Photos can only be used with one library at a time." No Photo synch on MacOS My Photos (formerly called iPhoto) are not synchronizing on Macbook MacOS. It's been 3 days since the last synch. My iPad and iPhone are synching fine with iCloud. The photos are visible in iCloud. But I can't a way to get my Mac to do anything related to synch. This is a recurring problem, for me, and for many other users, as shown by search results here. Apple needs to fix this. (screenshot taken on Monday)

Why is iCloud photos not syncing on my new MacBook? My 2-month old M4 MacBook running the latest version of Sequoia has stopped syncing up to iCloud. It is able to download images from iCloud that I uploaded with my iPhone and iPad, but when I add (or delete) an image on the Photos app on my MacBook it does not upload the changes to iCloud. I have tried going into preferences and turning off iCloud Photos and turning it back on. I have also sign out of my Apple account entirely, restarted and then signed back in. It still refuses to sync up. How can this be resolved? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

You might be low on storage space on your laptop.

If that's not it, you may need to sign out of your iCloud account and back in.
