My old iPad Air 1st generation iPad safari wont download beta apple ipados 16 profile

i watched videos saying that you can update old iPads that can’t go past a certain update but you can download a beta profile and install and reboot and it will work it worked in the videos but when I tried it my iPad said safari can’t download/install profile. Can someone help me with this problem please and thank you
