iPhone 15 Pro Camera glitch (green area) when using Ultra wide lens in low light environment
Hi all,
I have recently bought iPhone 15 Pro and observing really bad bug (either software or hardware) when using the Camera in Ultra Wide lens and also in low light environment.
I had previosuly iPhone 13 Pro and never had this problem before ...
About the bug:
- only happening when using the 0.5 camera and in a club, where the light may not be strong.
- A green area would appear and the actual footage would be in one corner (attaching screenshots and video)
- When zooming in and switching the lens, the bug would dissappear
- Not all of the videos are like that. Not sure when and why this happens
- When looking at the footage, it is not static but it moves. Like it is trying to stabilize it
Solutions attempted:
- I have tried to force Restart my phone
- I have Rest all settings
- Turned off Enhanced Stabilisation
- Turned off Action Mode Lowe Light
- Turned off Lens Correction
- Switched video resolution to 1080 instead of 4k
None of these seems to be fixing the issue and still occurs...
I have managed to find just this information about the same problem - https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/173hr5t/green_bar_camera_problem_with_15_pro_max/
But overall, there is not much reported about this issue.
I am really frustrated with this problem. The main reason for buying the new iPhone is to use the camera for my gigs and this is the result?
Should it be a hardware or software problem, it definitely needs attention from Apple!
I really hope this message will gett attention from their support team.
