Mail App - SSL issues
I am attempting to help my elderly neighbor whose Time Warner Cable (twc) email stopped receiving messages on her iPhone 11. It is running the most current version of iOS (17.2) and the mail app gives an error message of “SSL cannot connect” when I put in her credentials.
Meanwhile, when I add this same account to my mail app, it instantly works and functions as intended (I am running iOS 17.2 on an iPhone 15 Pro).
Oddly enough my attempt to use gmail on her phone to add the account also did not work which lead me to believe it has something to do with the iOS version on the phone.
any other troubleshooting ideas I should consider?
