I want to add all figures in a ROW, not a column.

In a budget, I want to add all 12 months of one particular expense, eg all the electric bills, to see what I spent for the year on that particular portion of my expenses. I can only find instructions for adding the figures in "columns". Perhaps Numbers doesn't provide that option? If you know how to do this, please explain VERY simply! Thank you.

The expression for the sum of all entries in row 2 would be: =SUM(2:2). Remember that anything that doesn't belong in the SUM must be in a Header Cell.
