Apple TV plus app through Xfinity stuck in a never ending purchase loop from hades

I use the Apple TV plus app through Xfinity. When I subscribe it tells me to go to Link.apple.com and put in the code and then I subscribe. I pay the $9.99 and it says you have Apple tv Plus, please wait for your TV to refresh. It refreshes and then it goes back to you have to buy Apple TV plus again it won't let me play anything but free episodes. It keeps doing that over and over. No matter how many times I do it it keeps telling me I have this subscription but every time it refreshes I have to hit the purchase button again. When I log into my Apple ID and look at my purchases it shows that I've purchased the 9.99 a month Apple TV+ subscription. I've cleared all the cache from the Xfinity apps that didn't help

Any help on this would be great.
