when i go into my apple id
and then to payments and shipping
it said my card expiration date was in the past but it’s 2027 so i deleted it and tried again and still same result and then i tried a different card but it still said the same thing
card is still in wallet but no longer in my apple id so i cant purchase apps

You have to readd your card and make sure to put in the full year. Apple looks to have changed from a 2 digit year to a 4 digit year. You also might need to add it via Settings > Apple ID > Media & Purchases > View Account > Manage Payments.
