Try restarting by disconnecting from power for 30 seconds or so.
What happens for starting up again after that?
Do you see the glowing status light? Is continuously on or flashing? (It is supposed to be flashing for ~15 seconds or so during startup, then glow continuously. If it lasts significantly longer, then the unit may need servicing.)
