Configuration error (-71160)

I managed to find a solution to this problem - I was receiving that error when trying to setup my HomeKit.

nothing would be helpful, I updated AppleTV but was getting warning that not all date is being synced via iCloud and wasn’t able to do any login or updating via my iPhone.

i found an old answer to configure appletv manually but it wasn’t really applicable. It took me half a day of fiddling, logging out, logging in but eventually what helped was a reset of AppleTV (4th generation).

When I did the reset it turned out additional software update was downloaded and applied. Then I still couldn’t configure AppleTV from scratch by using my iPhone but managed to log in and configure manually. That did the trick and I was able to configure HomeKit and make it work - I was able to invite my girlfriend to access all the devices in home…
