Mail app is glitching. It non stop glitch opens and closes an outgoing email, without sending it.

I've tried closing the Mail app and and restarting my Macbook Pro 2019 15" i9.

Mail crashes instantly repeatedly Am operating on a 2017 MacBookPro 13” with latest Ventura OS 13.5.1. When I open Mail, it quits almost immediately repeatedly. I’ve tried some of the remedies suggested but none of them have worked. I can see the email listing briefly for a second or two. Apple Mail is generating new blank emails unasked When using Apple Mail on my iMac running OS 13.4.1 (c), suddenly a new blank email will appear, then another. Just before starting this question it generated eight in about five minutes! These blank new emails are odd, they can't be closed in any way other than by quitting Mail, then on restarting Mail they will have disappeared.
