I have Numbers files missing from my iPhone

On your phone go to Settings > Your Name > iCloud > APPS USING ICLOUD show all > and make sure Numbers is turned on.

Also make sure 'Sync This Phone' is turned on at Settings > Your Name > iCloud .

After that you it may help to power your phone down completely and restart.

There might be a better Discussion Subject area for this question, but I'll take a shot.

I've read that if your phone isn't syncing the iCloud data across devices it might help to turn Syncing off and then back on. The control is in Settings > Your Account Name > iCloud > iCloud Drive > Sync this phone.

It also might help to Sign Out from iCloud and back In on you Mac.

Can you see your Numbers files on your iPhone using the Folder app?

If you can't view the file in iCloud, you can't access it with Numbers. Maybe the file was relocated to your Mac HDD.
