Losing Numbers files (backup on Icloud) after last IOS update on Iphone

I have just updated my phone IOS to 26.2 and lost in the process all my number files that were on my Icloud. I have checked directly on my Icloud (browser) "opened recently" or "deleted recently" ... nothing. I know that i used the some of the files 3 days ago.

I have restarted my devices, logged out and back again..

Files have just vanished !!

iPhone 15, iOS 26

You haven't lost your files.

The new version of Numbers (15.1) does not recognize the 'Recently used' files from Numbers 14.4. The documents are still there, but this version of Numbers has never seen them, so it doesn't think of them as 'recent'.

You can still get to your files, either via the Files app, or via the Browse button on Numbers' startup. Once you've opened the file once, Numbers will remember it.
