Can I safely remove Microsoft "OneDrive" from my new MacBook Air 2023?

Can I safely remove Microsoft "OneDrive" from my new MacBook Air 2023, with MacOS 14.2.1? I have installed MS Office Home and Student. Not sure if that was installed as part of that package or not. I will only be using MS Excel, OneNote, Teams, and PowerPoint
